Requirements & Responsibilities of all OGTAN Members
Be a registered company in Nigeria, with the Memorandum and Articles of Association (MEMART) clearly stating training, human capacity development, or related learning services as part of its core business activities.
Hold a valid NUPRC and/or NMDPRA Training Permit.
Have suitable training facilities (owned or leased) for oil and gas sector training
Employ qualified and certified trainers with relevant industry experience, ensuring that at least three trainers or consultants hold a recognized Train-the-Trainer certification and possess CERTIPORT or another approved digital literacy certification.
Demonstrate a track record of training delivery, or show capacity to deliver recognized oil and gas training programs.
Undergo the OGTAN Standardization Audit (ATSP) and attain at least Grade C within three years of membership
Work toward achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification within three years of acceptance.
Develop and maintain an updated Training Policy & Manual aligned with ISO 29993 and ISO 29994 requirements for learning services and virtual training.
Maintain an updated profile on the OGTAN website, including courses, contact information, and annual training calendar
Attend at least 80% of zonal meetings, actively participate in zonal and national OGTAN activities, and comply with OGTAN’s Code of Conduct, quality standards, and verification processes.
Provide at least three recommendations from existing OGTAN member companies.
