The OGTAN Quality Management System (OGTAN QMS) established in 2023 as part of the growth initiative of the Association aims to standardize her services to her membership in line with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. This is aimed at enthroning standards in all aspects of the Association’s processes and for ensuring the Association is operating at a world class level. Part of this growth program is the accreditation of her services to the requirements of ISO 17065 in order to give impetus to her supervisory and guidance roles on her membership. To further global acceptance of her personnel certification services as an Awarding Body for the Oil and Gas Industry in Nigeria, OGTAN is also set to acquire accreditation to ISO 17024 – the global standard establishing competence of organizations offering personnel certification services.
