Identifying and closing
the widening skills gap in Nigeria

As part of OGTAN Body of Knowledge, OGTAN has commenced curriculum development on identified skills gaps for structured learning programs and certification for various technical and vocational skills. OGTAN developed curriculums and schemes are accredited under the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) Synergy Program of NCDMB.

These curriculums are developed, critiqued and validated under guidance of the Sector Skills Council (SSC) for National Occupational Standards for the oil and gas industry and in collaboration with relevant stakeholders such as: Petroleum Training Institute (PTI).

The curriculum design templates are standardized to address relevant skills and training methodologies as set by local and international regulatory agencies.
