There are currently 14 PWGs in existence and more may be created as technology advances and emerging training scopes are defined or existing ones redefined.

This PWG offers trainings for solutions and competence in value chain operations and maintenance from routine operations to statutory turn-around maintenance, utilizing industry relevant technology and tools.
The Welding and Fabrication PWG conducts welder and welding technology training in all spheres and processes of welding from fillet to plate and pipe, from novice to expert upgrade and in line with industry accepted certifications.
The HSES PWG offers extensive and internationally recognized HSES trainings with international certifications recognized globally by industry.
Members of this PWG offer world class trainings in QA/QC covering all engineering quality prescriptions as per industry Codes and also NDT/DT courses up to level III programs with international certifications.
This PWG handles internationally acceptable logistics and supply chain management programs benchmarked on international offerings with industry wide accepted certifications.
The Hospitality, Catering & Hotel Management training programs on offer by this OGTAN Group meet and exceed requirements for this scope covering onshore and offshore prescriptions with professional certifications as required.
This PWG handles Drilling and Well Engineering courses suitable for all classes of personnel from technician to drilling engineer with the right technology and tools from reputable OEMs and industry accepted certifications.
This OGTAN PWG addresses the soft skill requirements of all industry personnel to meet the holistic needs of a well-rounded professional possessing both technical and soft skills that make the difference in industry operators. This PWG offers internationally recognized and accepted trainings on Rigging, Lifting and Work at Height programs including crane operations and Rope Access techniques with backing from internationally recognized organizations.
This PWG represented by higher educational institutes and polytechnics who are members of OGTAN offer industry relevant programs not easily handled by non-public members of the Association due to statutory issues or complexity of such offerings.
The Information and Communication Technologies PWG of OGTAN offers world-class trainings comparable to the best globally, from simple computer-based technologies to complex digital communication technologies and diverse internet programs.
The Marine PWG of OGTAN boasts of internationally recognized maritime academies that meet and surpass requirements of the industry from basic safety and personal survival to marine communications, oceanography, marine engineering, shipping/port management, etc.
This PWG offers TVET programs that meet both industry and national / regional skills gaps needs and comply with both national accreditation requirements and international standards for such vocational and technical training programs. This PWG has very high impact on employment generation because of the diversity of the offerings and non-formal entry requirements for some basic programs.
