OGTAN held its National Award Ceremony on Monday, February 13, 2023, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island.
The National Awards provides an opportunity to recognize individuals and organizations that have contributed significantly to Human Capacity Development in the Oil and Gas industry and the realization of the Federal Government Human Capacity Development goals as enshrined in the NOGICD Act, 2010 and relevant Federal Executive Orders.
Awardees included notable persons and organizations within the industry, regulatory, MDAs, and academic sectors who have evidently and objectively made major impact or carried out research towards human capacity development in areas of skills requisite for empowering Nigerians to participate as professionals in the oil and gas industry business.
The National Awards celebration was an assembly of leading Chief Executives of Oil and Gas Operating Companies and service providers, Government Regulators (NNPC & subsidiaries, NCDMB, PTDF, NBTE), and Academia of industry reputation as well as leading Training Services Providers. The event provided participants with the opportunity to network and celebrate with individuals and organizations that have contributed immensely to the development of local human capacity and the growth of OGTAN.
