The Oil and Gas Trainers Association of Nigeria (OGTAN) on September 12, 2025, successfully hosted the 4th edition of its Annual Human Capacity Development (HCD) Awards at the MUSON Centre, Lagos, celebrating individuals, companies, and institutions shaping the future of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
As the umbrella body that supervises, standardizes, and certifies training providers and curricula in the petroleum sector, OGTAN positioned the Awards as the industry’s foremost platform for recognizing excellence in training, knowledge transfer, and local content development. The association’s president, Mr. Christopher Osasu Osarumwense, noted that the ceremony underscored the need to strengthen skills across operating companies, service providers, and government institutions as the industry continues to evolve.
