During this momentous occasion, President Onyechi and his team engaged in comprehensive discussions with Rear Admiral AA Orederu, the esteemed Admiral Superintendent of the dockyard. The discussions encompassed a wide array of topics, ranging from the strategic alignment of objectives to registering of the Naval dockyard apprentice school and naval institute of technology as members of OGTAN .
The tour ended with an extensive tour of the Naval Dockyard Apprentice School , a state of the art school designed to develop technical expertise in engine repair , welding , fabrication and woodwork .
